Firedog Lily...she was treated to a bath and haircut today in honor of her bravery! (okay really it was her "usual" haircut day, but Chad told her it was "special")
Poor Mrs. Lori's and Mr. Jimmy's house...the siding looks like band-aids that are peeling off...the garage door and upstairs windows also must be replaced
The destroyed home...a complete loss...Chad said he has never "felt" heat like that...pretty scary!Lily has proved herself a "worthy" pet. This morning at 2am...Chad was home alone....he was awakened by a barking dog...he took her to the door to let her go to the bathroom when he noticed the "large" brand new house two down from ours "engulfed" in flames! He immediately called our neighbors who evacuated to our house and then the fire department. The house was a complete loss and our neighbors had some damage as well....Chad is having trouble admitting Lily was a heroine....but the girls and I think she deserves spot in the Baxter Bulletin as a local hero!http://www.ktlo.com/wireready/news/11140_HOUSE_FIRE_UPDATE_MIKE_KENNEDY_RESIDENCE_101908.php
