Last night was the girls' first softball game! They both did great...Dewey number 11, 12, and their coach. There were 4 coaches and 8 team members (Coach Dewey prefers it to be that way :) ) It was pretty obvious Leah had played a year...she really has improved. She enjoyed visiting with her friends from the other team when they were on base...it was a hoot! Lauren had an awesome first game! She got some good hits off the tee. She was pretty concerned about the concession stand being open (that's my girl!) The other team's coach was SLOW, so their was a lot of dirt playing during their time to bat. Coach Dewey showed him how to do it and looked great in his hot pink Dewey and Sons shirt. We play again Friday night...hopefully it will be MUCH warmer!
